Forest restoration day
As part of the Forest Renewal Day, you can plant trees, help with preparations for the natural renewal of the forest, build fences, clean the forest and other works. Or just come and enjoy an accompanying program for the whole family and a walk in the forest!
During the year, we organize dozens of outdoor events where you can lend a hand and help restore Czech and Moravian forests. The highlight of our efforts will be the nationwide Forest Renewal Day, which will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10 am to 4 pm in each region. Come and try working in the forest, learn more about the work of foresters, and enjoy a rich accompanying program. What to look forward to this year:
In addition to forest restoration, we traditionally prepare an accompanying program full of fun and information for children and adults:
- Games and quizzes for children
- Forest management, windbreaks, and forestry parks
- Water retention in the landscape
- Tastings of game meat
- First aid and safety in the forest with emergency services
- Tick prevention with the mobile application "Klíšťapka"
- Tourist information
